Shortcuts rarely pay off. The writer and director have translated one of the old Tamil movies “Thiruttu Payale into Hindi. The movie looks like a Hollywood infected desi thriller film where the characters speak and sing in Hindi. The suspense needs to more solid.
Shortcut Romeo takes too long to unveil a suspense you probably figure out midway. For a suspense thriller, that can be the biggest flaw.
