Alia Bhatt to share screen space with Dhanush?

Student of the Year Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is planning to mark her Tamil debut in cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand’s Anegan. But if the latest buzz is to be believed, Aadukalam helmer Vetrimaaran has signed up Alia for his upcoming film which also stars Dhanush in the lead.

It is being said that Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali’s latest heroine Alia Bhatt is quite pleased over the latest development. Following the huge success of Polladhavan and Aadukalam filmmaker Dhanush is reuniting with the director for the third time in the untitled project, to be produced by Cloud Nine Movies. Earlier reports revealed that Udhayam NH4 actress Ashrita Shetty would share screen space with Dhanush in the film but now it seems Alia has snatched the opportunity from the newcomer.

After John Abraham, Bipasha Basu to tie the knot!

Bipasha Basu is ready to take her relationship with Harman Baweja to the next level. Rumours are rife that Ms Basu will marry Harman this year. Well, if the grapevine is true than we are super happy for the Raaz 3 actor. Just recently, her ex-boyfriend John Abraham also took the plunge and broke the news about his marriage to girlfriend Priya Runchal on popular micro blogging site Twitter. But Bips made her shaadi plans before John announced his on social networking site, we hear. However, the Bong babe and her boyfriend will make an official announcement about their wedding only after Harman’s film Dhishkiyaon hits the theatres in August.

That’s not all! Bipasha and Harman’s families have formally met. “After that meeting, their respective parents have met quite a few times. Bipasha and Harman are really serious about each other. I am sure that they want to tie the knot this year” said a close friend of Bipasha to leading daily.

When a leading daily contacted Harman’s father Harry Baweja to confirm the news he said, “I am in a narration. I will speak to you later.”

Though both the actors and their respective families are keeping mum, we do hope the wedding takes place this year that too in full filmi ishytle.

Why did cops bust Bipasha Basu’s birthday party?

It was Bipasha Basu’s birthday yesterday (January 7) and obviously, the Bong beauty was in a mood to party. She threw a lavish party at her Khar home on Monday night where she had invited her beau Harman Baweja; Shilpa Shetty and her hubby Raj Kundra; Shamita Shetty, R Madhavan and Rocky S.

All of them were partying so hard that they didn’t realise that the music level was reaching the highest decibel level. Phir kya tha? Bipasha’s neighbours didn’t quite like this and called the cops. It was around 1 am when the police knocked Bipasha’s doors and booked a staff member.

Will Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tie a knot?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s sizzling chemistry in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela was appreciated big time. And now we hear the two talented actors will be seen playing husband and wife in director Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny Fernandes which also stars Arjun Kapoor in the lead. After playing the madly-in-love couple in Ram-Leela, it would be surely be interesting to see DP and Singh play a shaadi-shuda couple on the silver screen, hai na?  ”Ranveer has shot with Arjun, but most of his scenes are with Deepika. Their crackling chemistry has to be seen to be believed. He was in Goa for just three days and the trio spent a lot of time shopping and sightseeing” said a source close to the film to a leading daily.

Apparently, it was Homi who came up with the idea of casting Ranveer as Deepika’s husband in the film. In fact, the entire unit of Finding Fanny Fernandes was excited when they came to know DP and RS will play a couple in reel life.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne celebrate New Year separately

Not long ago Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne decided to go separate ways and ended their 13-year-long marriage. And though the two have been going through emotional turmoil, Duggu and Sussanne made sure to be with their friends and loved ones to welcome New Year. While the onscreen superhero attended his close friend Goldie Behl and his wife Sonali Bendre’s party, Sanjay Khan’s beti zoomed off for a vacation along with her two kids – Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Reportedly, HR was also invited by Aamir Khan to his Panchangi house for New Year celebrations but the honey-eyed actor preferred staying in Mumbai with his pals.

Jr Roshan’s jigri dost Kunal Kapoor kept him company at the New Year bash and on the other hand, Sussanne’s Sister Simone and her niece have tagged along with her on the vacation. Post separation, we think Sussanne needed a good break so we are happy that she is spending quality time with little boys.
