Shahrukh Khan to walk the ramp with Yash Raj heroines

Shahrukh Khan will walk the ramp with the poster girls of Yash Raj Films – Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif to pay tribute to Yash Chopra on his birth anniversary on September 27th. Shahrukh will be the only male actor to walk the ramp at the event organised by the late filmmaker’s wife Pamela Chopra. While Pam Chopra has been tight lipped about this special plan to celebrate her husband’s life, the Yash Raj films spokesperson, Rafiq Gangjee confirmed this news, “Pamelaji requested Shahrukh to be part of this tribute to Yashji and he happily agreed to walk with all the divas as part of the grand finale.”

Last year when the maverick filmmaker celebrated his 80th birthday, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan star had interviewed Chopra in front of a live audience comprising industry members and journalists at a grand event. While we definitely are looking forward to this event, what stands out as a sore thumb is the ex-favourite of YRF camp Kajol not being invited to this event.

Shahrukh Khan sex-determination case: BMC gives a clean chit!

A few months ago, Shah rukh Khan was in the news for alleged pre-natal sex-determination of his younger son AbRam. Though the actor had denied such claims right from the beginning, a social activist had filed a case against SRK and his wife Gauri Khan under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act.

Now, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has informed the Bombay High Court that it conducted an enquiry into the case and has found the allegations baseless. BMC counsel MPS Rao said, “The Corporation has conducted an enquiry and found the complaint baseless.”

As per the complaint, it was alleged that Shah rukh had determined the child’s gender before birth. The actor revealed that when the accusations surfaced, his son was already a month old and being treated in the incubator.

So, from the beginning King Khan was on the winning side of the case. We’re glad that he is now free from such allegations. We wish the world’s happiness to Shahrukh Khan’s family and his li’l one AbRam.

Deepika Padukone to play Shahrukh Khan’s leading lady in Happy New Year

After a lot of speculation as to who will star opposite the Baadshah in his next home production, we are glad that we will get to see SRK and Deepika together on screen again soon. First it was Jennifer Winget Grover of Saraswatichandra fame and then it was Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Ankita Lokhande who were rumoured to play SRK’s leading lady, as Farah was looking for a fresh face.

Later, it was Katrina Kaif whom Shahrukh was rooting for, especially after their movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan did well.

Deepika has been finalised now. She debuted in SRK’s production Om Shanti Om that was directed by Farah. So she is Farah’s baby, so to speak.

Happy New Year is to go on floors in September 2014. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and reportedly Prithviraj who was last seen opposite Rani Mukerji in Aiyya and also in a supporting role in Aurangzeb.

Shah Rukh Khan finally confirms the birth of his baby boy

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has put a full stop to all the rumors and speculations, after he finally spoke up about his newborn baby boy. Reportedly, on Wednesday night, Shah Rukh revealed that he is now the father of a third baby, but did not wish to indulge much into too many details.

During the music launch of his movie Chennai Express, Shah rukh Khan told the media, “It is a personal and confidential matter…it is a mix of happiness and sadness. I request the authorities concerned to continue to enthusiastically investigate about my baby.” He further said, “Get over it. Get on the train baby, and not my baby. Will talk about all this later.”
